The software can accurately pinpoint the speed, line and length of each delivery bowled. At the end of an Analysis Suite session budding cricketers can take away a free video of their performance. They can view a graphical breakdown of their statistics in the Analysis Suite.

- See how fast you bowl
- Watch each delivery back in 'Virtual Reality'
- Measure how far you are turning the ball through spin, seam or swing
- View 'beehive' formations marking where each delivery meets the batter

All mapped onto the 'Virtual Lord's'  to show your deliveries on the famous Home of Cricket.

Please note, you have to be aged 13 or over. Also, participants must be bowling off the full 22 yards.

Umpires can also make use of the technology to sharpen their skills on LBW decisions and learn more about the technology in general.

Match Days

All matches being played at Lord's are available to view online. If you wish to download all the fixtures onto your online calendar, please click on the 'Download the Fixture Calendar button at the top of the page and follow the instructions.

Full Members can attend any cricket match day on the Main Ground at Lord’s by production of their valid red Membership Pass alone.

Senior & Associate Members can attend some match days by the same method using their yellow Membership Pass. The Pass will show you which days you have membership privileges.

Your Membership Pass will be checked by our security staff upon arrival. You do not need to notify us in advance if you plan to attend on match days.

For minor match days, you can watch the cricket from any open area of the Ground, including the Pavilion (noting the Dress Regulations).

For major match days, you are able to sit in any unreserved seat in the Pavilion (subject to capacity) or in the Members’ Friends’ Enclosures. Up to 60% of seats in the Members’ Friends’ Enclosures are allocated to Reserved Seats. These areas will be designated and clearly communicated in advance of each match day.

Guests are only permitted into the Pavilion on certain match days and numbers are limited by the Special Regulations confirmed by the Membership & General Purposes committee each year. Guests must have valid Ground Admission tickets (a Rover or Pavilion Admission ticket on Major Match days).

Guests must adhere to Dress Regulations for Pavilion admittance on match days. Please see here for more information.

Please introduce your guest(s) to the Pavilion Stewards at the North or South Doors where they will receive a Pavilion Admission ticket. Please ask your guest(s) to return the ticket once they leave.

During international matches (subject to Special Regulations), the Pavilion is open to Members only during play. Once play has finished, the Ground remains open for up to an hour and Members can introduce guests into the Pavilion (subject to capacity and at the Club’s discretion) via the South Door.

The Members’ Queue is viewed by many as a cherished tradition. To get hold of their favourite seat, some Members queue up by the Grace or North gates as early as they can, though gates do not usually open until two hours before play is scheduled to start.

It should be noted, however, that Members who have not queued should still be able to find a seat. If you are having difficulty finding somewhere to sit on our busier match days, please speak to one of our stewards, who will be able to help you.

There are two queues at both the Grace and North gates. One for unaccompanied Members and one for Members and their  Rover ticket-holding guests. The Unaccompanied Members’ Queue is admitted first and the Members’ and Guests’ Queue is admitted once the first queue has been exhausted.

At the Grace Gate, the Unaccompanied Members’ queue lines up towards the Heyhoe Flint Gate, tracing back towards the junction of St. John’s Wood Road and Wellington Road. The Members’ and Guests’ Queue files back in the opposite direction, towards the junction of St. John’s Wood Road and Grove End Road.

At the North Gate, the Unaccompanied Members’ Queue follows in a westerly direction up Cavendish Avenue while the Members and Guests Queue lines up towards the junction of Wellington Place and Cavendish Avenue.

Please note that Senior and Associate Members can only gain admittance via the Unaccompanied Members’ Queue queues if they have membership privileges that day.

To ensure there is no queue-jumping on Major Match days, we provide Members in the queues at the North and Grace gates with a numbered card before gates open. These correspond to your place in the queue.

Each card is colour-coded and you will be asked to enter the Ground in turn as your colour is called. If you do not receive a Queue Card, you will not be admitted to the Ground until all those with Queue Cards have entered.

Please hand back your card to our staff as your Membership Pass is scanned.

Our catering team offer a variety of food options throughout any match day at Lord’s, including breakfast, lunch or supper in the Pavilion, depending on the match day. You are also able to purchase food in any of our food outlets around the Ground.

Please see our Plan Your Day pages in our pre-match communications for more information on which food outlets are open that day. You can also contact our Restaurant team and look to book a table at one of our three match day restaurants open to Members. Email them at restaurants@mcc.org.uk.

You can bring as much food and non-alcoholic drink into the Ground as you wish. Many Members like to ‘reserve’ a spot on the Coronation Garden for a picnic during the Lunch interval at Test matches. You can also purchase ready-made hampers from our Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks.

We are also the only cricket ground that allows spectators to bring their own alcoholic drinks so long as they adhere to one of the following descriptions and quantities:

one bottle of wine or Champagne (max. 750ml); or

two cans/bottles of beer/cider (max. 500ml each); or

two cans of premixed aperitifs (max. 330ml each)

During Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred match days, we do not allow spectators to bring their own alcohol; this is reserved just for MCC Members and guests with Rover tickets.

Members enjoy a discounted price on all food and beverages served in the Pavilion and other Members' Bars.

Members can also enjoy 20% off all soft or alcoholic drinks in any Public Bar, and drinks concession unit, by producing your valid Membership Pass to the bar staff before you complete the transaction.

A formal standard of dress applies in the Pavilion on all match days, but regulations are more relaxed in the Members' Friends' Enclosures. There are also variations ot match day dress regulations on certain match days (e.g. The Hundred).

Please see all information on what to wear when you come to Lord's online.

If you are at a match and need to report inappropriate, anti-social or racist behaviour, please alert a steward in the first instance.

You can also text or WhatsApp 07401 056737 and provide details of the issue and your location within the Ground and member of our security team will liaise directly with you.

For less urgent incidents, please complete our customer report form.

Children under 12 years of age may not be introduced into the Pavilion on match days, except when directed by the Special Regulations, i.e. during The Hundred (see more in The Hundred section below).

You can bring babies under the age of six months into the Pavilion. They must be carried in-arms as there is not sufficient space for prams inside the building. If you wish to breastfeed your child in private, you are welcome to make use of the quieter surroundings in the Multi Faith Room on the South side of the Pavilion, opposite the Members' Shop.

Full Members aged over 75 who have been a Member for 30 years or more are entitled to apply for a Reserved Seat on the concourse in front of the Pavilion on any Major Match Day. To do so, please contact our Club Services Department by email at clubservices@mcc.org.uk.

It should be noted that all reserved seats on the Pavilion Concourse have now been allocated in respect of the first three days of the England v. Australia Men's Test match. A waiting list has been created for Members who have been unsuccessful in their applications for these days, and, if cancellations are received, the seats will be re-allocated to those on the list.

Associate Members have full membership privileges for the following days:

Days 4 and 5 - England v. West Indies Test match

Days 3, 4 and 5 - England v. Sri Lanka Men's Test match

England v. New Zealand Women's T20I

Associate Members can also enter the Ground and watch cricket from the Pavilion on any other match day, including matches in the Vitality Blast T20, One Day Cup and The Hundred. To see how many guests you can introduce to the Pavilion in 2024, please check our Special Regulations.

We are currently in the process of organising the backlog of fixtures from MCC matches over the past five years in order to begin publishing our Cricket Annual once again. More information will be provided when these Annuals are ready.

Most umpires and scorers are recommended to the Club by serving umpires, scorers or MCC players.

If you have extensive experience as an umpire or scorer at a high level of the game and you are interested in having a role at our out matches, please contact our Cricket Office by email at cricket.office@mcc.org.uk

MCC Extras will offer associated affiliate benefits and experiences.

MCC Extras Presents is a regular series which offers Members access to exclusive events providing engaging content and opportunities, featuring special guest speakers and affiliate partners.

The series comprises three formats; ‘In Conversation With…’, ‘Presentations’ and ‘Experiences’.

These events are currently scheduled to be held online until it is possible to host them at the Ground.

Membership

We have four classes of membership: Full, Senior, Associate and Out-Match.

Most Members are Full Members (capped by the Club Rules at 18,350).

Full Members have a full range of membership privileges including the ability to attend any cricket match day at Lord's and voting rights at the Club's General Meetings.

Associate Members have a more limited set of membership privileges, including the ability to attend Lord’s on certain match days (set by the MCC Committee each year). They cannot attend or vote at the Club’s General Meetings.

Senior Members likewise have a limited set membership privileges and benefit from a much lower subscription rate as a result. Their privileges allow them to attend the same match days as Associate Members, but they also retain voting rights at the Club’s General Meetings. Full Members aged 70 or over may apply for Senior membership, which provides an affordable option to allow an individual to retain their membership when they no longer wish to attend the busiest major match days.

You can see a full list of the rights and privileges for each member class online.

Within the Full and Associate membership classes, there are also eight subscription categories. You can see more information on all classes and categories of MCC membership online.

Your annual subscription is due on the 1 January each year. You must complete your payment by 1 March, after which date, you will incur a 25% surcharge. If payment has not been taken by 1 April and you have not made any attempt to contact the Club in this regard, your membership will automatically lapse.

The easiest way to make your payment is to set up a direct debit payment scheme. If you have not arranged this automatic form of payment but would like to, you can do so online by logging in to tickets.lords.org and updating your payment method. Alternatively you can continue to pay each year by card.

See more information about your subscriptions online.

You can see our full list of annual subscriptions online

It is the duty of each Member to determine the appropriate subscription category pertinent to your individual circumstances. If you do not believe that you are correctly categorised, please make a written application to the Club accordingly.

Any change to subscription rates is voted upon by Members at an Annual General Meeting. For example, an increase in rates for 2023 – the first in three years – was approved at the 2022 AGM.

From October 2022, the Club began a new process whereby prospective Candidates need only have one Full Member as a sponsor and that the process has moved largely online. You can nominate someone by filling out this online form

Once the form has been correctly completed, a second online form will be sent directly to the prospective Candidate to fill out. Thereafter, a date will be made for an interview with two of the Club’s qualified endorsers who will assess the prospective Candidate’s application and make a view on whether they match our updated criteria, with an emphasis on a demonstrable love of the game. If they are successful, they will be asked to pay an Entrance Fee to join the Waiting List.

Candidates who enter the Waiting List this year can expect an offer of membership within 29 years. An offer of Associate membership is estimated to be offered after around nine years.

Membership Passes (red for Full Members and yellow for Senior and Associate Members) are despatched to the address we have on file for you before the season begins. Preparations begin in February and we aim to send all Passes by the final week of March.

If you have not received your Membership Pass by the first week of April, please contact us at membership@mcc.org.uk and we'll investigate this for you.

Lost/forgotten Passes can be replaced with a Duplicate pass. Please contact the Club Services Department by phone at 020 7432 1010 or by email at clubservices@mcc.org.uk

Please note that administrative charges may apply.

We encourage all Members to make use of our Membership Network page.

This page includes a list of our Regional Co-Ordinators, volunteers who have offered to be a focal point of contact for MCC Members in their region, either in the UK or worldwide.

You can also use the Member Find Member facility which includes contact details for all Members who have opted in to sharing these details among the membership. You can share your details by ticking the 'Shared' box on your profile and clicking Save. Access and update your profile online.

Plan Your Day

For information on how to get to the Ground, please go to our How to get to Lord's page.

We encourage all visitors to use public transport whenever possible.

There is no car parking at the Ground and restrictions are in place for non-residents to park in the local area between 8:30-18:30 on Major Match days.

If you do need to drive to Lord’s, Westminster City Council offers car parking at the follow locations:

- Pay by phone parking
- Local Car Park
- NCP Car Parks

If you are disabled, or travelling with someone who is, then please contact the Club Facilities department on 020 7616 8653 or at Clubfacilities@mcc.org.uk. They will be able to arrange drop off and pick up arrangements for you.

Lord's is the only international cricket venue in the world where spectators can bring alcohol into the ground.

For Vitality Blast matches, alcohol may only be brought into Lord's by MCC & Middlesex Members and their guests, as well as Debenture Holders and their guests.

For matches in The Hundred, ticket holders are not permitted to bring in any alcoholic drinks to the Ground (which is a variation to the MCC Ground Regulations). If you are an MCC Member or Debenture Holder you may still bring alcohol into the Ground but please enter via the Grace Gate.

For all other matches, spectator may bring alcoholic drinks into the Ground in one of the following descriptions and quantities:

(i) one bottle of wine or Champagne (max. 750ml); or (ii) two cans/bottles of beer/cider (max. 500ml each); or (iii) two cans of premixed aperitifs (max. 330ml each).

Bottles of spirits or fortified wines will not be allowed into the Ground. Amounts of alcohol in excess of these limits. Under no circumstances will any spectator be re-admitted to the Ground at any time during the day if he or she is in possession of any alcohol.

MCC reserves the right to confiscate any quantity of alcohol from any spectator.

Yes, you can bring your own food into the Ground for all matches.

It is also possible to order, one of our exclusive Made In Oldstead picnic hampers created by Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks exclusively for the Lord’s. Orders must be made at least 72 hours prior to the match day and you can collect it at the Ground on the day of your visit.

No fancy dress costumes are permitted for spectators at Lord's.

No flags or musical instruments are permitted at Lord's.

We advise against bringing pushchairs along to the Ground on Test Match Days.

You will appreciate that the Ground gets very full indeed, and unfortunately we don’t have any dedicated space for pushchair storage.

However, for minor matches - including Middlesex's County Championship & Royal London Cup fixtures, there is sufficient space around the Ground to accommodate pushchairs.

PROPOSING A CANDIDATE

Every Candidate is nominated in the same way, but a prospective Full Playing/Out-Match Candidate will also be required to fill out a statistics section as part of their application.

To be considered to play for the Club, a prospetive Full Playing/Out-Match Candidate will be asked to provide evidence of their current experience of playing cricket to a good club 1st XI standard.

A Full Playing Candidate is elected as a Full Member once they have successfully completed their qualifying mathces to the required standard. As a Full Member, they are provided with a red Membership Pass and are able to access all the rights and privileges of Full membership.

Out-Match Candidates qualify for membership in the same way as Full Playing Candidates. The low level of both the Registration Fee to become a Candidate and the Annual Subscription for Out-Match membership reflects the fact that privileges are limited to the Out-Match setting. Out-Match Members play for MCC and are able to wear the Club colours. Once an Out-Match Member has completed five years of membership, they are entitled to apply to transfer to Full membership.

Propose an Out-Match Candidate online now.

Every Candidate is required to pay a Registration Fee before their name is entered into the Club's books.

The Registation Fee is deducted from the Entrance Fee payable once the Candidate is elected as a Full Member of the Club.

Full Playing Candidates are currently required to play 10 matches in two years. Provided they have successfully completed their qualifying matches to the standard required by the relevant Players & Fixtures sub-commitee, thye can expect to be offered Full membership in two yeas.

Out-Match Candidates follow the same timetable as Full Playing Candidates and can therefore expect to be offered Out-Match membership in two years (with the ability to transfer to Full membership after five years).

All other Candidates must wait for membership vacancies to occur to move up the Waiting List. At the current rate, they can expect to be offered Associate membership after approximately nine years.

Associate Members are able to wear the Club colours and enjoy a range of benefits, including the ability to attend selected major match days at Lord's. The current estimated waiting time for Full membership is around 29 years.

No.

The Waiting List is for Full membership, with Candidates being offered Associate membership part-way through the waiting period. All Candidates (including Associate Members) are offered Full memberhsip when their name reaches the top of the Waiting List. If the Club's offer of Full membership is declined, there is no option to continue as an Associate Member or Candidate

Prices for all The Hundred match days at Lord's during the Members' Priority Period are:

You can purchase either Lord's Pavilion Guest tickets or MCC Member Area tickets. Both categories of ticket are restricted by the above ticket limit. All seating is unreserved.

Guests with an MCC Member Area ticket will be able to sit in the Members' Friends' Enclosures only. Similarly, guests with a Lord's Pavilion Guest ticket must remain in the Pavilion (i.e. they'll not be able to sit in the Members' Friends' Enclosures).

Please note that we are again expecting Lord's Pavilion Guest tickets to be particularly popular so if you wish to bring a youngster into the Pavilion, make sure you purchase these tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

In the Pavilion, a smart casual standard of dress applies to Members and their guests, including a collared shirt or cricket replica kit. Jacket and ties are not required; shorts and trousers must be tailored. These regulations do not apply to children aged 12 or under. See more information on our Dress Regulations online.

There are no dress regulations in the Members' Friends Enclosures during The Hundred, beyond that expected across the Ground (i.e. no fancy dress).

There is no age limit for children in the Pavilion during The Hundred, but we expect all children to behave appropriately. You are responsible for the behaviour of any child you introduce into the Pavilion.

Babies in arms

You are able to bring babies under the age of six months into the Pavilion. Please note that they must be carried in-arms as there is not sufficient space for prams inside the building. We ask that Members are considerate of one another so all spectators can enjoy watching the cricket safely and soundly. If you wish to breastfeed your child in private, you are welcome to make use of the quieter surroundings in the Multi Faith Room on the South side of the Pavilion, opposite the Members' Shop.

TICKETINg

Rover tickets, for their guests, are only available to be purchased by the following - Full MCC Members on all major match days; for MCC Senior and MCC Associate Members on selective major match days and for Middlesex Members, who hold the appropriate membership level, for Vitality Blast matches.

Rover tickets admit to the unreserved sections of the Warner Stand, Tavern Stand and, in terms of International match days only, the Lower Tier of the Allen Stand.

In order to prevent overcrowding in individual stands, each member and Rover ticket holder may, on entry to a stand, be issued with a pass which must be presented, together with the Membership Pass or Rover Ticket, on any subsequent re-entry during the day.

Members may reserve seats in these stands prior to play, the precise number of seats (generally no more than four) will be determined on a match-by-match basis and advised to Members in pre-match communications. The Club accepts no responsibility for articles used for this purpose. Seats may also be reserved from 15 minutes before until 30 minutes after the luncheon interval, and during other brief absences not exceeding 10 minutes.

It is not practical to have stewards on hand in all areas throughout the stands, so Members are asked to observe the spirit of fair play.

If they are unreserved Rover Tickets, then your guests can come, however, if they are reserved seats, in the Members’ Friends’ Enclosures then they should be accompanied by you.

Tickets for all match days can be purchased online at https://tickets.lords.org/

If you are unable to access tickets online, and depending on availability, tickets can be purchased at the Ground in the Club Services Office, accessible by No. Gate gate on Grove End Rd. Please note, these can only be purchased with a credit or debit card, cash will not be accepted.

A ticket can be reissued at the Ground, however this will only be issued to the original purchaser as a replacement for a ticket that has been printed out, deleted irretrievably and then lost, stolen, mislaid or is defective or defaced.
