A fast-paced team with numerous different facets, the Marketing and Communications department is responsible for being the bridge between the Club and the public, communicating through a range of different channels with the aim of driving brand awareness, increasing our global reputation for working for the good of the game, generating sales across commercial areas and match day tickets as well as general promotion of the Club’s activities both operationally and at Lord’s.
The Marketing and Communications team, with members focused on Marketing, Communications, Digital and Design/brand, oversees all official communication from the Club, including via the media, membership and customer communications, and social/digital media.
The team is busy and determined, but also friendly and sociable, with everyone pulling towards the same goal of upholding MCC’s and Lord’s strong reputation.
The Heritage & Collections team preserves, displays and develops MCC’s unique collections.
We stage an ever-changing programme of themed exhibitions in the MCC Museum, display fine artwork in the Pavilion – including new commissions – run a varied events programme for Members, offer world-class research facilities in our Library and Archive and add value to many other functions at Lord’s.
At Lord’s, heritage isn’t just something we do, it’s an essential part of who we are.
The Lord’s Estate extends over approximately 17 acres and consists of 25 properties including our Grade 2 Listed and historic Pavilion, our iconic J.P. Morgan Media Centre and eight grand stands.
It takes a large team of skilled maintenance technicians, engineers, carpenters, painters, gardeners and cleaners to keep Lord’s looking its best.
Our technical teams keep everything running smoothly, working alongside our stewards and catering teams to ensure that visitors’ experience of Lord’s remains outstanding and world-class – befitting the Home of Cricket!
Some of the words associated with the Lord’s Tour include quality, inclusivity, heritage, style, excellence, and Englishness. The Tours team are the guardians of the stories at Lord’s and share these with thousands of tour visitors each year.
Our shops are where fans go to pick up their favourite cricket merchandise. Our busy teams run five shops on site at Lord’s, as well as the Lord’s online store.
We look to engage with customers, giving them a shopping experience they enjoy, helping them choose their ideal product from our range, from weathervanes to replica shirts. Together our skilled team works hard to deliver outstanding customer service and put a smile on all our customers’ faces.
