WE ARE THRILLED TO CONTINUE THE LEGACY OF CRICKETING EXCELLENCE AT LORD'S YOUTH CRICKET TEAMS.
Building on the success and achievements of the past three years, we are delighted to announce the continuation of the Lord’s Youth programme for the 2024/25 season. This programme offers young cricketers the opportunity to elevate their game through our winter training sessions and represent Lord’s Youth during our summer fixtures.
Alongside our U13 and U15 Girls teams, we will be running U13, U15, and U17 Boys teams. This will provide a platform for talented individuals to hone their skills, gain valuable match experience, and develop a strong team ethic.
Our carefully constructed programme aims to bridge the gap between club and county cricket, providing you with valuable match experience against clubs, schools, and representative teams from major and minor counties. Our highly qualified coaches will train you on a weekly basis at the state-of-the-art Indoor Cricket Centre, which includes access to cutting-edge technologies like HawkEye batting and bowling analysis.
During the trials, you will be challenged to showcase your talents over several weeks. We will be looking for a wide range of skills, not just focusing on who is the biggest, fastest, or strongest player. As part of the team, you will also develop a strong team ethic that will benefit you both on the Lord’s Youth side and any other teams you may be part of.
Once selected, you will have the chance to demonstrate your skills on the prestigious Nursery Ground and other venues across Greater London during the summer. Matches will be played against teams ranging from county sides to highly competitive academy teams, offering valuable experience.
