How to Get to Lord's

Lord’s is close to the centre of London and is easy to reach by tube, train, bus and bike.

“Coming to Lord’s Cricket Ground on match day couldn’t be easier with plenty of sustainable options across the TFL network. MCC also encourages sustainable travel modes in line with our sustainability objectives.”

There are a variety of London Underground stations nearby and some that are beneficial to alight at depending on where you are seated in the Ground itself. These options should be considered for entry and egress.

  • For the Warner Stand, Pavilion, and Tavern and Allen Stands, use Warwick Avenue or Edgware Road
  • For Mound and Edrich Stands, use Baker Street
  • For the Grand and Compton Stands, use St. John's Wood

By choosing a station in closer proximity to your area of the ground you are likely to have an easier and less crowded experience.

During major events at Lord's, St John's Wood station is very busy and a queuing system to enter the station post-match will be in place, so the alternatives above should be considered.

There is an excellent signed walking route for those deciding to alight at Baker Street and make their way to the Ground. Lord's is also well served by buses, and several routes run alongside the Ground.

Please note, Lord's is also served by a number of buses including the: 13, 113, 139 and 189 which all drop youtside the Ground.

Before making any journey to the Ground using bus, tube or train it is recommended to check TFL Live Travel News.
