London Spirit Men’s Assistant Fielding Coach – Job advert
London Spirit is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Fielding Coach of its Men’s Cricket Team in The Hundred Competition.
Based at the world-famous Lord’s Ground, the role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performance environment with world class players and coaches.
Job Profile
Brief Job Specification
To assist the Head Coach in preparing the playing squad on both practice and match days, with particular emphasis on fielding but with scope to branch out to other areas. This will involve active participation in all training sessions, as well as working with the players and other back-room staff on specific tactics. A key factor will be to bring energy and dynamism to the group and to have an upbeat presence around the dressing room.
The role will be based in London with a requirement to travel to all matches and training sessions with the team.

Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Minimum ECB Level 3 Coaching qualification or equivalent.
- Experience as at least an Assistant Coach of a team in a similar domestic, franchise or international environment, or as a recently retired former professional player starting their coaching journey.
- Strong knowledge of the players in domestic and international cricket.
- Current DBS / Working with Children certificate.
- First Aid and Safeguarding Young People qualifications.
Contracted Dates
August 2025 for the tournament itself, although input is required for the player-retention and draft after appointment.
Remuneration
Salary commensurate with candidate experience.
All travel within the UK and accommodation costs will be covered during the period of the tournament, in addition to receiving daily expenses. International travel will not be reimbursed.
