MCC has today confirmed a thrilling schedule of matches for 2024 at Lord’s Cricket Ground, with dates now being confirmed for all games this summer.

For the fourth year running, Lord’s is the venue of choice for The Hundred Finals Day, as announced today by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which will see the culmination of both men’s and women’s competitions on Sunday 18 August.

London Spirit’s home matches have also been announced, with games against Birmingham Phoenix (27 July), Welsh Fire (1 August), Oval Invincibles (4 August) and Manchester Originals (9 August). For information regarding tickets for these fixtures, please click here.

At the end of 2023, the exciting international schedule for Lord’s was announced with Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies the confirmed touring teams.

England’s men will kick off the international summer at Lord’s as they face West Indies (10 - 14 July). Fresh from an impressive display in their limited over matches in the Caribbean, the West Indians will be hoping to bring this form to the Test arena.

A women’s T20 international will be next at Lord’s as England will be looking to break more attendance records when they host New Zealand (17 July) in the culmination of a five-match series.

County cricket and The Hundred will then take centre stage before Sri Lanka face England’s men in the last Test match of the summer at Lord’s (29 August – 2 September).

Old rivalries will be renewed in late September (27) when current ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup champions Australia will be coming to Lord’s as part of a seven-match white-ball series against England. Middlesex will look to bounce back from their relegation to Division Two of the County Championship as they get their season underway against Glamorgan (5-8 April). Further matches take place against Yorkshire (19-22 April), Leicestershire (3-6 May), Sussex (24-27 May) and Derbyshire (23-26 June) before their final match at Lord’s in the County Championship against Gloucestershire in September (9-12).

Sunrisers and Middlesex will play two double headers in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Vitality Blast competitions respectively at Lord’s in 2024. On 6 June, Middlesex will play Glamorgan and Sunrisers will play South East Stars. The second double header will see Middlesex come up against Essex and Sunrisers playing The Blaze (13 June).

Middlesex’s final matches in the Vitality Blast pit them against Somerset (11 June) and the annual North London v South London match-up against Surrey takes place on 20 June. Information regarding tickets for the Vitality Blast can be found below.

Vitality Blast

Two months on from their visit in the Vitality Blast, Somerset will once again be the opponents at Lord’s for Middlesex’s match in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup (11 August).

The highlight of the minor match season is undoubtedly the culmination of the inaugural Road to Lord’s competition, which will see the Schools Open T20 Finals Day (28 June) preceding the BUCS Men’s Finals Day (2 July) and the BUCS Women’s Finals Day (3 July). These dates will bring to a close the new schools and universities competitions.

Following confirmation of a funding uplift from MCC and ECB at the end of 2023, the MCC Foundation Hubs Finals Day (20 July) will see the very best of the Foundation Hubs programme battle it out at Lord’s in a fixture that has provided some thrilling matches in recent years.

MCC Playing Members will enjoy the opportunity to play on the Main Ground with Women’s Day (17 May) and MCC T20 Finals Day (23 August). MCC Men will also face Scotland A on 12 April before the Lord's hosts disability cricket for the first time on 22 July, in a T10 against ECB Chair’s Blind XI followed by a 40-over fixture against ECB Chair's Disability XI.

The men’s and women’s University Matches between Oxford and Cambridge (9 May), Eton v Harrow (10 May), the UK Armed Forces Twenty20 Cricket Day (16 May), the ECB Junior National Club Championship Finals (14 September) and the Voneus Village Cup Final (15 September) complete the fixture schedule for 2024.
