Lord's Dining Club

Experience culinary innovation as visionary chefs descend upon the Long Room, each showcasing their passion, talent and gastronomic imagination.

In the Iconic Long Room

HONOURING THE TRADITIONAL PAIRING OF FOOD AND CRICKET, LORD’S DINING CLUB BRINGS TOGETHER MCC'S HERITAGE WITH EXCITING, INVENTIVE COOKING FROM SOME OF THE WORLD’S MOST REVERED MICHELIN-STARRED CHEFS.

Following the sensational success of Lord’s Dining Club events in 2024 hosted by Tom Aikens, Aktar Islam and Tom Shepherd, attentions now turn to Paul Ainsworth.

Taking place in the Grade II*-listed Pavilion, each event includes a cocktail reception with a selection of MCC canapés in the Long Room Bar – or in the famous Home Dressing Room for those who wish to indulge with a platinum package.

The menus are exclusively designed by the evening’s host Michelin-starred chef and includes an exclusive reception followed by a four-course meal, paired with a matching wine flight, chosen to enhance the culinary delights on offer. A Q&A session, hosted by a cricketing legend, will delve into the chefs’ successful careers as well as exploring the menu choices guests will be enjoying on the evening.

Our upcoming Lord’s Dining Club experience has two experience options available to purchase across both events.

Gold Package: £270 per person, which includes a reception in the Long Room Bar with a welcome cocktail ahead of your dinner and  evening drinks inside the Long Room.

Platinum Package: £395 per person, offering a unique experience to enjoy a reception in the Home Dressing Room. You will be joined at this exclusive drinks reception by the Michelin-starred chef and event host. A Platinum Package also includes premium seating in the Long Room in close proximity to the stage.

Paul Ainsworth

Thursday 27 February 2025

Growing up in his parents’ guesthouse in Southampton, Paul Ainsworth was part of the hospitality industry from the very beginning. Watching and helping his parents at work, he developed a strong sense of hard work and determination to succeed, standing him in good stead for a career that has seen him regularly feature on TV shows such as Great British Menu, MasterChef and Saturday Kitchen.

After learning from the likes of Gary Rhodes, Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing, Paul was invited to head up the kitchen of No6 in Padstow. Four years later, in 2009, Paul and his wife Emma took over the restaurant and relaunched it as Paul Ainsworth at No6, winning a Michelin star in 2013.

Paul also owns two further restaurants, The Mariners and Caffè Rojano, and is set to release his debut cookbook, For the Love of Food, in July 2024. Paul has earned numerous accolades over the course of his career, including Best Chef at the 2018 GQ Food & Drink Awards and both ‘Restaurateur of the Year - Independent’ and the ‘Chef Award’ at The Cateys in 2019.
