Marylebone Cricket Club (the Club) is the world’s most active cricket club, custodian of the Laws of Cricket and is also the owner of Lord’s Ground, affectionately known as the “Home of Cricket”.  The MCC and Lord’s brands are renowned worldwide and are synonymous with excellence, prestige and providing an enjoyable customer experience, whether at an international cricket match or a special event.

As Senior Operations Manager, you will be joining the award-winning in-house team, operating across unique and different spaces, with the prestige of delivering inside the world-famous Grade II listed Pavilion. You will have experience of driving service levels, coping with multi-site operations on the same day, met with strong logistical planning and communication skills. You will be working with several different stakeholders and will need a solution focused approach, bringing your own creativity and standards of operation whilst leading the recruitment, development and culture of both the casual and full-time team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in successfully executing all elements of delivery for Events & Experiences
  • Experience of multi-site operations and managing a large team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, solution based, analytical thinking in the construction and innovation of training programmes, with a holistic view from recruitment & induction through to the evolving delivery across the year.
  • Strong leadership skills and attention to detail in monitoring and upholding standards, maintaining relevant accountability across all levels of the team
