The medium-fast bowler made her international debut for England at the age of 16, and went on to play 113 matches in a nine-year international career.
She took 29 Test wickets at an average of 18.93, including 5 for 40 to help England retain the Ashes in Australia in 2008.
Guha also took over a hundred wickets in 83 One-Day Internationals, with four of those matches taking place at the Home of Cricket.
Since her retirement in 2012, she has built a successful career in the media commentating for various outlets at international matches, and in the Indian Premier League.
The ringing of the five-minute bell at a Lord’s Test by an international cricketer, administrator or well-known enthusiast of the sport is a recent tradition introduced in 2007.
The bell is rung to signify the imminent start of play, and it has become a great honour to be invited to ring it on the morning of a Test match.
