Full fixture list for 2025 at Lord’s announced including Finals Day in The Hundred

MCC has today published an exciting schedule of matches for 2025 at Lord’s Cricket Ground, with dates now being confirmed for all games this summer.

Lord’s remains the venue of choice for The Hundred Finals Day, as announced today by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which will see the culmination of the tournament, and features both men’s and women’s competitions, on Sunday 31 August.

London Spirit will play four home fixtures at Lord’s in 2025, with games against Oval Invincibles (5 August) – the opening match in the tournament - Trent Rockets (14 August), Northern Superchargers (20 August) and Southern Brave (23 August).

The international schedule for Lord’s was released last year. The ICC World Test Championship Final comes to the Home of Cricket for the first time, with South Africa to play Australia to determine the men’s world champions in the format, in a match starting on Wednesday 11 June.

England men will welcome India from Thursday 10 July for the third Rothesay Test in a five-match series between the sides.

England women will play host to India on Saturday 19 July, in a Metro Bank One-Day International.

Finally, we round off a fantastic summer of international cricket with a day/night 50-over match on Thursday 4 September between England and South Africa men, in a Metro Bank One-Day International.

Middlesex men get their Rothesay County Championship season underway at Lord’s on Friday 4 April, as James Anderson looks set to return to the scene of his international retirement, playing for Lancashire. We will host three further four-day Middlesex men’s matches before the end of May.

The Vitality Blast arrives at Lord’s on Thursday 29 May with Middlesex welcoming Sussex Sharks in both the men’s competition and the new women’s Vitality Blast Women’s League 2. Kent Spitfires, Essex and Surrey will also visit Lord’s to face Middlesex in the men’s competition.

Vitality Blast Information

Sussex Sharks will return to Lord’s later in the summer, as they provide the opposition for Middlesex men in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup on Sunday 10 August.

Other fixtures announced today reflect our support for cricket as a game for all, as we welcome a wide variety of teams to the Home of Cricket in 2025.

For the first time at Lord’s, there will be a pan-disability international taking place, when England take on India as part of the Club’s Disability Cricket Day on Wednesday 25 June, with players from the Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Deaf squads forming each country’s playing XI.

Following on from its success in 2024, which featured an exhibition of blind cricket followed by a match between MCC and an ECB Disability XI, this summer’s Disability Cricket Day will also see MCC play Middlesex D40 1st XI, who will make their debut on the Main Ground.

Having lifted the Quest League national title in 2024 for the first time in their history, the opportunity to play at Lord’s represents another proud milestone for Middlesex’s Disability players.

The Road to Lord’s is a cherished goal for cricketers the world over and this year we are delighted to host the following finals this summer:

MCC Playing Members will enjoy the opportunity to play on the Main Ground with Men’s Day (25 July) and Women’s Day (8 August). MCC Men will also face an ICC European XI on April 11, and both men’s and women’s teams take on Hong Kong Cricket Club on Tuesday 15 July.

Completing the picture, Lord’s will also stage a match between Eton and Harrow (8 May), men’s and women’s University Matches between Oxford and Cambridge (9 May), and the UK Armed Forces Twenty20 Cricket Day (22 May).
